About to catch a flight and need to ditch the queue and check-in online? Landed safely in your holiday destination and need to tell the folks back at home? Want to request a cab online to head the holiday life that awaits you? How about passing time before catching your connecting flight? This may all be likely when at the airport before departing for, or having reached your destination.
That’s why connectivity is important while at the airport – a need computer security engineer Anil Polat recognised. As a response to the trouble travellers often have to go through to access free wifi at airports around the world, Polat created a interactive map that outlines the wifi hotspots and passwords at various airports and lounges, WiFox.
“I’m the blogger and computer security engineer who writes foXnoMad while on a journey to visit every country in the world. I’ll show you the tips, tricks, and tech you can use to travel smarter,” Polat says.
