Foodies who are eagerly awaiting the opening of Luke Dale-Roberts’s The Shortmarket Club in Cape Town in June, can now enjoy a number of pop-up experiences that showcase the menu (in anticipation of the official opening later this year).

The first pop-up event will be held at the Naturalis incubation hub in Woodstock. “The Break – Fast Club / A Shortmarket Street Introduction” features a three-course menu  priced at R200 per person. This includes a delicious breakfast and coffee by Espresso Lab Microroasters. (For an additional R60 per person, guests can order a glass of Avondale’s Armilla Cap Classique). This introduction offer will run from 8-12 February 2016. There are two seatings, from 7.30am-8.30am and 9.30am-10.30am, so book early!

The Shortmarket Club is the brainchild of Dale-Roberts, Simon Widdison and Chef Wesley Randles of The Pot Luck Club and, judging by the hype, promises to shake up the Cape Town foodie scene.
