A holiday in the Virgin Islands following a two-term presidency – sounds like a fitting means to adjust back into life. This is how former President Barack Obama and wife Michelle Obama revelled since President Donald Trump took office on 20 January.
The iconic duo have been enjoying the sand beach and sun in the Caribbean islands of Sir Richard Branson’s private resort. The 50-plus isles are dotted east of Puerto Rico and are known as one of the world’s sailing hot spots.
Holidaymakers can enjoy a range of activities in the sun or water, from water-skiing in the Cane Garden Bay or exploring Sage Mountain National Park at the Tortola island, to snorkelling at Loblolly Bay Beach on the Anegada Island.
