Former chef to Nelson Mandela, Chef Brett Ladds, will be launching his own ground-breaking restaurant in Pretoria in the near future. Chefs @ 566 will see Ladds’ dream come to life as it provides diners with an interactive culinary experience.
This has been a long-time dream of Ladds who – having cooked for a number of prominent figures and aided in establishing of multiple businesses – will bring invaluable experience to the table.
“Food must only be made with love; the taste comes from the soul,” says Ladds.
“You know you’re a chef and love food when you can produce an awesome meal when you’re not hungry. Stunning food is like an orgasm in your mouth – you moan and grown without being touched.”
Begin your experience at the restaurant, located in Garsfontein, with freshly baked goods from the restaurant’s bakery – including bread, scones and pastries – paired with fine roast coffee blends.
