From 3 July until 28 August, Delheim is offering visitors a chance to warm up and have fun with their Cheese Fondue & Jazz Sundays.
The “downstairs” tasting cellar will play host to these cosy and casual winter afternoon wind-downs, at which live music will accompany a cheesy feast.
“At Delheim, we embrace the chill factor to the max this winter,” said Destination Manager Charlotte Terblanche. “When it is chilly outside, we invite you to come and chill with us. These Sunday sessions are for friends and families who want to huddle around sizzling fondue pots for a taste of nostalgia and most importantly, have a good time.”
Chef Bruce von Pressentin’s fondue is a classic recipe containing Emmental and Gruyère cheeses and white wine. Mouths watering yet? The estate’s vast wine selection pair perfectly with the fondue’s accompanying oven-fresh bread dippers and vegetable crudités.
The fondue and jazz combination can be enjoyed every Sunday, starting at 12h30 at a cost of R200pp. Tickets include a warm glass of Glühwein, a shared fondue and live music.
